Dining at The Connaught offers you the best of traditional English and classical French cuisine, complemented by an outstanding wine cellar. Our mahogany-panelled Restaurant and Georgian-style Grill Room have both been awarded Michelin stars, and have proudly merited the exclusive Les Grandes Tables du Monde "Traditions et Qualite". Speciality classics, such as Crousade d'Oeufs de Caille Maintenon and Chartreuse de Perdreau a l'Ancienne, appear next to Cornish Crab Bisque and Braised Beef with Onions and King Edward Puree.

The Grill Room

With only 11 tables, The Grill Room provides the mood and atmosphere of a private dining room. Decorated in Georgian style with a green and gold colour scheme, you’ll find it particularly attractive in the evening when the garden is floodlit and the tables are laid with Venetian candles. The menu offers both the simplest and most refined examples of classic French and traditional English cooking. The cuisine is proudly matched in quality by a cellar, which has been built up over a period of 50 years.

The Restaurant

The gleaming, mahogany panelled Restaurant is the larger of the two dining rooms with well-spaced tables to create an atmosphere of intimacy. In the evening, the lighting is soft and reflects a warm glow from the burnished wood panelling. The menu offers both the simplest and most refined examples of classic French and traditional English cooking complemented by a wine cellar which has been built up over a period of 50 years.

The American Bar

The oak-panelled American Bar provides the ideal setting for a lunchtime, pre-dinner or evening drink. Comfortable and intimate, the congenial surroundings of the cocktail bar are the perfect setting for guests and visitors to relax.
